We are proud to host the third Asia Oceania Forum on Synchrotron Radiation Research as part of a full week of activities incorporating The Australian Synchrotron User Meeting and The Next Generation Science Workshop. As one of the newest facilities in the Asia Oceania region we are generating lots of interest and are keen to show the world what a fantastic facility we have built which will underpin research in this region for years to come. Delegates from Taiwan, China, Japan, Singapore, Korea, India. Thailand, as well as delegates from across Australia and New Zealand will come together to share their knowledge and build regional collaboration.
We hope you will join us. Professor Robert Lamb Director Australian Synchrotron
It is my pleasure to invite you to attend the 3rd Asia Oceania Forum for Synchrotron Radiation Research Workshop which will be held on December 4 and 5, 2008 in Melbourne Australia, hosted by the Australian Synchrotron. The workshop is being held in conjunction with the Australian Synchrotron Users Meeting and will be an excellent opportunity to see the Australian Synchrotron, the most recent facility to become operational in the Asia-Oceania region. As at the previous AOFSRR workshops, presentations will focus both on new science and facility developments. A special theme of this workshop will be the new science which will be performed at the next generation FEL and ERL facilities. It is my hope that this 3rd AOFSRR workshop will continue the development of scientific networks between the user communities of the member countries and I look forward to your participation Professor Yoshiyuki Amemiya President, AOFSRR
